I watched a full playthrough of this game, and while the dungeons and objectives can get as repetitive as any dungeon crawler, it did bring a smile to my face many times. Gameplay is a quasi-medieval Diablo-esque action RPG but in Nickelodeon worlds. Think Cat Quest but with Nickelodeon characters.

For what it's worth, the voice acting appears to be the original voices to my ears, which is honestly a feat considering how old some of the source material is. I won't spoil any surprises, but I did say "my boy _________ is here too, no way?!" as if I was watching a Smash Bros surprise character unveiling. Yes, that might be a bit of an overreaction, but call me a sucker for childhood nostalgia because this game is clearly pandering to me, and by golly they got me.

Launch price of $50 seems steep for what it offers, but hey, that's the cost of authenticity, and I'm sure the voice actors were not cheap. This sale price is much more attractive, and had I not already watched the full playthrough, I'd likely jump on it myself.

Also, a quick Google search shows the Switch/2 digital version is currently on sale for $19.99 if that's your thing.
