try Osprey. You will never go back to anything else.

Best Osprey?

It really depends on your use case, capacity needs, and budget.

That's another reason why they shine: they have purpose-built bags that function so well for a unique use and corresponding proprietary features that are all so well thought out.

Options for daily EDC to biking to hiking, they've got so many excellent features and they're built with proven longevity in mind.

I don't have any affiliation with them, just love their offerings.

You've obviously never had an Oakley bag. Far better than their sunglasses. Osprey is great, but IFYKYK

I had a kitchen sink bag for years. It served its purpose because I didn't know any better, but it's so big and clunky that once I discovered Osprey I use those exclusively as EDC now.

I liked the Oak's decent quality and storage options, but it feels over-engineered in the name of fashion. It has become saggy and droopy and doesn't have any support structure which is annoying.

I have an Osprey Hikelite that I grab whenever I need to haul things for the daily, and its rigid structure and open-back mesh is incredible.

The Kitchen Sink bag I had has that massive foam backing that just generates heat and absorbs sweat like crazy when running to/from gym sessions.

There are a lot of points of failure on the Oak KS, and it to me feels like a fashion-first item with admittedly some good materials throughout. They just don't distribute weight as efficiently as Osprey does and the weight distribution feels like a complete afterthought.

All Osprey bags feel like their main goal is being built for efficiency, but the Oak KS feels like the polar opposite.

this guy gives a great review of the Kitchen Sink:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTN8mQLd5ak

He speaks about how accessing anything is a multi-step process
How the zippers aren't all smooth
Most of the pack is fabric and material-heavy, and that limits on storage

Best part of the video is making fun of the tactical adjective, It's a ridiculous word being overused so much everywhere... You got three inch knives selling for $9 being called tactical, come on shake head

These bags supposedly have a lifetime warranty (meaning potentially you could exchange your old one for a new one)

Where do you see that?

A lot of these brands love to tout a "limited lifetime warranty" which just means they will only honor claims of defects or workmanship problems.

Very few have an actual lifetime warranty that covers most problems pertaining to wear & tear.

That's a great deal on Kitchen Sink. Have had mine for over 20 years and has traveled with me everywhere. Also Oakley has the best warranty -- lifetime. if you have any issues take it to an Oakley store and they will give you a new bag.
I could not find anything stating Oakley has a lifetime warranty on bags. Are you able to provide this?

Says who? https://www.oakley.com/en-us/support/warranty says 1 year and very limited. That said I do like my Big Kitchen a lot, tempted to get one of the smaller models actually.

I got the kitchen a long time ago like 10 years, but got because was beautiful but didn't use much, it's heavy!
Had one for a long time too! It's quite heavy with all those metal things outside, etc. But the look is really cool. I sort of miss it now, not sure if I donated it to Goodwill or it's somewhere lost in the garage.

"Bathroom Sink" isn't a very appealing name. Why this name?
Then Oakley is not the brand that appeals you. They always pick names that stand out as being bold and edgy.

I am wrong, I swore I read several posts about it, but either they got pulled or I am just plain mistaken
