I've used hundreds of the physical cards but never these. I assume the only difference is you can't use these for transactions in person? But they work fine for all online transactions?
What I do is add them to Google Pay or Wallet, or if you have an iPhone, add them to your Apple Pay, so when you pay, you can make the payment with your phone.🔥
My kid's daycare charges 2.9% to use credit cards. This means that most credit cards will be money losers. However, if you have a Chase Ink Cash, you get 5% cash back in UR points, which means I can now earn 2% in points for daycare.
Also, if you are redeeming UR points for less than 1.3 cents per point, you're doing something wrong, so my upside is more than 2%.
Just don't do it with Amex cards. They get level 3 data and so can see what you purchase.
They couldn't care less. I bought $3k worth of MasterCard gift cards with my Amex, and then used them to buy $3k worth of Costco gift cards. got points for the purchase and the SUB in full.
most banks have caught on and will put in fine print that GC's don't count toward SUB's
Do they even know if you're buying a GC at Staples, Amazon, etc? Haven't needed to pull this to meet any mins but have bought GCs to rack up miles/points on my travel cards without issue.

some retailers they can see the entire transaction. showed up on my amex online account
NO APPLE PAY.
Costco online will work. For In-store, I am not sure if we can add this VC to costco account and then have it auto-use in store, anyone know if this method works, and if it works until the last penny is used? what happens when say i have $4 left on card, does it take $4 from the added card, and prompts to use another card to cover the remaining balance?

My main issue with prepaid virtual credit cards is how to use up the last penny unless I buy gift cards.
I had a tough time using my last $4 on previous card. Wasted so much time trying to maximize, that i decided not to buy these again. i'll buy if I find the right methods.
