OMG I have this! It was on clearance at Target for $80. I ended up still needing a regular toaster oven but this does make good pizza. This thing gets so hot I feel it needs insulation, but I guess everything now is gonna be cheaper like that. I don't regret it but I have two small appliances now while I was hoping I could just use this for everything.

Does it get as hot as a gas Ooni, and does it make a lot of smoke at max temps?
Are people using this like a mini Ooni and actually making their own dough and fresh pizzas, or is it mostly a fancy toaster for frozen pizza?
Trying to figure out if this becomes a weekend pizza hobby thing or just another appliance that sits in the cabinet.
The wife makes her own dough for this and probably uses it 3 to 4 times a month. Kids love it as they help customize it the way the like and are involved in making it. I just ask her to load the jalapenos and it tastes really good .
This would be a waste for frozen pizza. If you don't want to make the dough from scratch, the supermarkets do sell ready made dough which we at times she uses when she is strapped for time to make the dough from scratch.

Make my own dough with bread maker and pizzas at home with this oven whenever we feel like it (we're vegan so easier to control ingredients).

The Neapolitan setting reaches temp of 750 degrees.
It will cook a Neapolitan pizza in 2 minutes from homemade/Aldi/TJs dough.
It does get a good bubble in the crust with a good 70% hydration dough. I've been making poolish based dough, but I find that the Aldi/TJs premade dough is 90% as good as scratch.
I have found that it can make a lot of smoke at max temps, especially if you spill any cheese/toppings on the pizza stone.

Looks like you have the older model that was only for pizza. This model does everything a regular toaster does plus an air fryer mode. 7 functions in all. This is the jack of all trades you were looking for and you lucked out😭
I have the version of this that only has the pizza oven function, so I can only comment on that pat. Works great. We've had it for about a year and it gets used regularly. Gets to 800 degrees and can make good pizza in a few minutes.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have been loving it. We made 16 pizzas on Sunday for our Superbowl party. We make our own dough. The kids love picking ingredients and seeing their pizza cook in 3 minutes. I get excited every time I get to use it.

I have the version that just does pizza. The build looks the same so I thought I'd reply to your question. I use mine indoors in the winter and I don't have an exhaust fan in our kitchen. So long as I don't over flour the pizza peel I don't get any smoke in the house. If I'm not careful, the extra flour (used to help keep the pizza from sticking o the peel) burns on the stone creating smoke.
I've prevented the need for much of my "anti-stick" flour usage by purchasing a sliding pizza peel. That thing works amazingly well. Especially useful with my gluten free crusts which are like working with spiderwebs because they stick to your hands so much.
I bought my electric pizza oven because it was winter, it was on clearance for $50, and I wanted to see how much I'd like a pizza oven. One of the greatest purchases I made! It's fun to watch the pizzas bubble up, and no spinning the pizzas to prevent uneven cooking as I've read is necessary with gas/wood ovens.

I run mine outside on the patio.
