I wonder why these keep getting cheaper. Overproduced maybe? They're gorgeous.

I think they're a bit divisive. I personally think these things are hideous. I'm guessing most people either love or hate these.

On the flip side, I don't like brown guitars lol. One of my least favorites really is the orange burst les paul. So what if Yui from K-On has one?!

I tend to like the flashier tops rather than the same old boring colors Gibson/Epiphone keeps putting out year after year. How about you?

I tend to prefer traditional Gibsons. I like unique colors and crazy flame tops on other brands like PRS. The colored binding on these really puts me off. I don't mind the colors or the tops, though.

Can anyone who owns one of these give a review of the playability? I will be keeping an eye on these, it seems like the guitar market is just really oversaturated and these seem to be a good deal. Gibson also made one that looked just like the orange one, when I saw it on reverb I fell in love until I saw the $7,000 price tag. Lol I just might bite from musicians Friend/Guitar Center, since they have a decent return policy if the playability sucks.

I got a purple one. The frets were rather rough at first, like a little more than normal for a new guitar. Needed a small truss rod adjustment and the action lowered a tad, but aside from that it's extremely playable. Enough that I feel like I might have gotten a good one and am inclined to just smooth out the frets myself rather than risking an exchange for a different one. The neck is pretty grippy because it's glossy. Overall I think at the sale price of 650 it's great. Don't know if I'd pay 799 personally, but that's only because at that range I'd rather look at a PRS SE mccarty
