I repair watches. Agreed. At the retail level we charge $120 for a new capacitor installed. Considering you paid $150 for it is great.

Citizen has some good deals and is constantly one of my top pics for someone who wants a watch that don't have to worry with. I have some personal ones over 15 years old that are still going.

Don't be a watch snob. Everyone has a budget and the appreciation of it comes from the looks and movement and not always the trendiness or price tag. iPhones and Rolexes were cool 20 years ago and your pretentiousness has never been cool.

Jomashop is often what is considered a "gray market" retailer. Authentic products but don't typically come with manufacturer warranty.

I have purchased from them before without issue and also returned things within their 30 day policy. Also, no issues.

That being said, this seems like a crazy good deal for a titanium watch with sapphire crystal and eco drive. Albeit, it's hideous IMO 😂

I cancelled and they returned moneys without issue. As others have pointed out, they are a gray market dealer. Understand what that means before you order. Not really. This is just a throw away Citizen with only 100m water resistance. If youre truly 'getting into watches' and dont just like the look, you want something with a reason for wearing it, like a Nighthawk, a bullhead chrono, the Ron Swanson. Something with history.

Just an FYI those are all refurbished watches, not new. Most come with a 2 year warranty (good luck) vs. 5 year. Refurbs can be a great value, however, need to be heavily discounted to make sense from a value perspective. This version refurbed is $12 less. Not enough of a discount for me. Remember the movement already failed once (or had other issues) or it wouldn't be refurbished.
