Some Dyson products I see the value in the much higher price, at least somewhat. With this I just can't at that price tag for what it does. It doesn't seem groundbreaking or innovative at all really.

The mode where you aim the light into the stand and the stand becomes and diffused reflector is pretty cool... haven't seen another lamp that does that, but certainly not worth $500.
