I have this (3 x mesh) for a 3500 sq. ft and it's awful. Two are wired backhaul and one wireless. Terrible dead spots and weak spots. Can't even do zoom calls as I walk around the house. Need to sit in one spot for zoom calls.

Dang. I wonder if yours are defective or you have interference. Have you tried network optimization in the app? I'm on my 3rd Deco in 2 different houses, and they've all been solid. I'm on WiFi 6 now and have been thinking about 7.

I had deco wifi 6 and then upgraded to wifi 7. The connection and backward compatibility are better with deco wifi 6.

I bought a couple of 3-packs for my 4,600sq ft home back when Amazon had them for some ridiculously low price. I'm using four of them, and I get good coverage everywhere. My home is pretty typical late 1980s construction. Wood framed, some brick, carpet and hardwood without a lot of tile.

I've been happy with them, so far. They replace a mix of older AC/6 Decos. I'd been running five of those. I haven't seen any real improvements, but I only have perhaps 1 WiFi 7 device. I mostly bought because the price was too good to say no to and I'll be set for the next 7-10 years.

Stick with WiFi 6. There's no benefit to 7 unless you have mostly WiFi 7 clients.

What is the device or phone that you are walking around with? Not a single review on Amazon says anything about the mesh not working

I agree. I have something like the Decco m5s and it has worked great. It's 6 years old though. This is a pretty good price right ? I'm trying to be proactive and not wait for it to die. I don't think the government is going to shut them down.

Have the Wi-Fi 6 version of this and it's great even with no backhaul in a 2000 sq. ft. home.
