There's few brands and most know which is best
Toilet paper is more variance. Some prefer 1 ply because it flushes down older drains whereas some prefer the thick Charmin for less peel but those are known to cause more clogs.

Yes exactly. Surprised people still don't understand why 1 ply exists. All systems cannot handle 2ply.
