The Galaxy S25 FE comes across as a premium, well built Android phone with smooth performance, strong battery life, and seven years of software support. It is described as a solid step up from older FE models, with a slightly larger feel and better day to day speed. The main knocks are the 128GB storage ceiling and 18W charging, which may feel limiting as apps and photos pile up. It also seems priced better when open box or carrier deals drop it well below the listed price.
Android switchers wanting a premium-feeling daily driver, because it feels well built, runs smoothly, and gets seven years of support.
Yes, the 7 years of support is a major selling point, especially if you are upgrading from older FE models stuck on much older Android versions. It is also reported to feel premium and run smoothly, with some owners saying it has been flawless after a couple of months.
128GB can feel tight because the OS takes a large chunk up front, and storage can fill quickly with apps, photos, and videos. If you keep lots of media locally or dislike cloud storage, a larger-capacity phone may be a better fit.
Yes. Best Buy open-box "excellent" units were reported as low as $359, and one shopper noted prices vary by color and have since gone up. That makes it worth checking other buying options before paying the full $449.99.
The phone's 18W charging is a compromise and slower than many higher-end phones. If fast top-ups matter, that is a practical downside to weigh against the price and features.
Yes, it can work with a lapdock like a NexDock on compatible phones such as the S25 line. That makes it a possible lightweight alternative for people who want a phone-to-desktop workflow.
I will go back to flip and dumb phones or landline fuk em all lol I dont need to hear from anyone anyways, already prefer retro to new now days anyway.
You can use a lapdock like a nexdock with certain phones like the s25. I put in a pre-order for a Nexphone (dual boot android/linux and Windows for ARM). Yes, it has a micro SD.
I actually bought my wife and I the S25 FEs back around Christmas when they were on sale. I bought us a few S20 FE's almost 6 years ago and they are still working great today. The only reason I decided to upgrade was for the OS upgrades as ours were locked at Android 13. If my S20 FE had an unlocked bootloader, I would have put my own upgraded OS on there.
So far though, 2 months in, and the S25 FE's have been flawless.
Samsungs are amazing new. Once the years start to pile up on them, you will have to keep them on "power saving" setting to continue to use. My s21fe is still going but definitely need an upgrade.

First I heard of this phone. Seems like a cool concept. Price is solid. Realistically I feel like this phone will do it all but not be good at any of it. The 18w charging is also a compromise. I have the s25 ultra and the dex is very well optimized.
Got my wife one of these in the Cricket deal around Christmas. It's a very nice phone, I have the 24fe and her's is a bit larger and runs a bit better. Solid phone for the price.

metro pcs has these for 99.99, locked for 1 year. They are a 649.00 value. bring a line, they know how to get around that at the store. I bought a new S23fe that way, ended up costing around $240.00. Thats a long was from $649.00, Still cheaper than the $449.00 being advertised here.

get around what means instead of you having to have a new line to port, you can go to tracfone buy a 1 month tracfone refill card for I think about $50 and they can add that 1 month refill to a tracfone they have under their desk at Metro Pcs, then they can transport that number to your new phone or you can keep a number that you already have.
Nice phone. Just got this from work. Choice was this or iPhone 16e. This phone is sooo much more. Happy with the way it works. I live in both the Android and Apple worlds. I agree with comments though, this should be sub $400. Well built. Feels premium. Wish it was smaller like the S25. 7 years of support is a huge plus. There are some good A series Samsungs out there too for under $200. A few years ago, I had an A32 that was great. Back then, if Samsung had longer service life, I'd probably still be using it. One thing to note, S series phones do not have "fun photos" mode like the A series. Why not???

S21 FE is pretty old at almost 4 years, that's not a surprise. Most phone companies expect people to upgrade every 2 years. Only Apple seems to make a phone that you can keep for years and still get functionality out of. My friend is still using an iPhone 2 SE.
