For anyone like me that has had older models (Kasa version), do these newer ones fix issues with LED lights flickering whether or not dimmer is used? Especially the newer flush ceiling lights that come in new homes. Or are those lights just junk and the switches are fine?

I had the discontinued Belkin Wemo stopped supporting.

Are these supporting 3-way (controlling/turning On/Off 2 different switches in 2 different locations such as: Garage and Patio and/or Up stair/Down-stair) ?

I have a tapo controlling six recessed can led lights and have not experienced flickering issues with the dimmer. I have not had any kasas, so I cannot say for sure if the problem is the old line or your lights. All I can say is that I'm pretty sure my lights are nothing fancy

I don't think it will be able to support if you intend to still have two switches. It should be able to support consolidate them into a single switch, but you will have to use phone/smart assistant to control the switch from the second location

Yeah, you might have lights that are not dimmer compatible. Check out deals for replacements; I got a bunch of 4" recessed for less than $5 each, and if you like the flush lights, those go even cheaper sometimes.

Any reason not to get these if I already have Kasa switches? I assume I can just use the Tapo app for both. Do they look the same as well?

I have some of the non-dimmer models. Not a fan. Will randomly disconnect and not able to reconnect. Physical button wouldn't work wither. Even cutting power did nothing. At the time it was a known issue. It's been a couple years now and I have since removed them, but something you might want to look into.

The switches were on my IoT VLAN. Don't think it played a role, but maybe?

I have one of these. I just can't get used to the only tapping on the bottom. Otherwise it's great

These do not support 3 way switching. They do exist from Tapo, but they are more expensive than these.

I have more than a dozen dimmer and non-dimmer. None of them exhibit this problem.
