At that price, it better wake me up in the morning, tell me how good I look and pour me a cup of coffee.

Dang, I love Victorinox knives (I have 2) but that's a little over the top.

The regular work champ (non-XL) seems a much better deal at $100 ish. Still expensive compared to some multi tools, but I've had a Rucksack model of this knife as EDC for 30+ years and it's still functioning perfect.

The downside is it takes 10 minutes to find the tool you want...

Similar experience here. Victorinox is the OG of Swiss Army knives, and their quality and longevity are legendary. This model is a bit overkill for my needs. The Tinker is an old standby for pocket carry, and the Ranger is a good larger size for the outdoorsman or tradesman (Same profile as this Work Champ, but with only 7 foldouts plus toothpick and tweezers). Prices aren't cheap, but the stainless steel is top grade and as you mentioned they last for decades with reasonable care. Metallurgy and build quality really make this brand stand out from the crowd as a refined tool built with pride. In full disclosure, I have both a Ranger and a Tinker that I use regularly.

Pretty sure whoever sports this thing will also be using a Dad belt holster.

Actually, 32 functions. You don't need to carry roll of quarters in your pocket.

Nuts overpriced these days, these use to sell for $35 long ago. Shit, you could buy a Chinese knock off every 3-5 years for the next 20 years and still come out cheaper than this. Also, wouldn't surprise me if they're now made by China and they just box the finished knives in Switzerland, just like those luxury Louis Vuitton handbags that were actually made in China and finally packaged in the EU and sold at outrageous prices to idiots with money. LMAO

That would make it fail California emissions, also wonder if it has a Prop-65 label on it. LMAO
