I ended up getting this. The setup and BT connection to the app worked well on my first test. However, I tested yesterday and the app is not getting the 2nd reading. The machine seems to have memory and can "see" both of the readings but the app says "no new reading" or something. Not quite sure what's going on.

I have three different brand BP cuffs from over the years, including an Omron

and each one gives me a different reading so no idea what to believe anymore

Values do fluctuate. You should wait at least 1 min between readings as well. If you're worried you can have someone take a manual blood pressure, they're more accurate. It's fairly simple and accurate to do so even with a cheap stethoscope.

nope, and I try to be paranoid about cuff placement, arm position and all that jazz

one of them will give me good numbers, another will say high BP and another will split the difference

haven't tried it but wondering if even the same brand cuff would give the same numbers across two different models

my next cuff will be one of those manual analog ones just to compare further

There have been third party testing on cuffs through the years and this is well documented as a thing- it's more important to stick to a single thing for all your readings because the differences within it are what's most accurate. Omron consistently scores highest, as does using upper arm like this. The wrist based stuff is consistently worst.

I was wondering if this integrated to Apple Health. It does:
https://www.omron-healthcare.com/...ct-support
How do I share my data with Apple Health/Google Fit/ Samsung Health?
Steps to enable other apps in OMRON connect app:
On the app, go to "Profile".
Tap on "App settings".
Under "Share data with other apps", tap "Apple Health/ Google Fit/ Samsung Health".
Tap "Link".
Enable the categories you want to share.
Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in if needed.
Tap "Allow" or "Done".

Take them to your doctor's office and go with the one that's closest to their machine's measurement.

Power adapter not included unless you go to the more premium $70+ models.
This at Best Buy will do, $12.99 new or $6.99 open box excellent. (Set the output to 6V)

Don't think it requires a power adapter. Product description indicates that it runs on 4 AA batteries.

I bought this at a higher price. For what it's worth, my doctor specifically recommended this brand.

Thanks. Just placed an order for this to be used for the Omron, which was also just ordered, and potentially for other stuffs. Got the open box excellent. Great price and free shipping.

I have the same problem so I manually input the reading into the app. At least it still tracks it then.

Other than that, I like this one.

Some folks like not having to replace batteries.
