I attached it to my bag using the included carabiner, letting it hang as intended. Within a day or two, it disappeared, leaving behind only the carabiner. The device itself had fallen off somewhere. It appears that the small hole connecting it to the carabiner must have broken.
Even the carabiner itself has a loose pin that could easily slip open accidentally, especially if you planned to reuse it for something else after the device fell off.
The light output is decent, but overall this product is definitely not worth $10, especially when rechargeable LED lights are so common and affordable nowadays. $3.88 might be a fair price, but not $9.99.
