I just upgraded mine. I'm on One Amplified. Also used Costco membership line to get the activation fee waived plus $100 GC.

I was also able to trade in a Galaxy S5, so I don't think that list given earlier is a complete list.
do you have to do this at a costco location? or is there a way to do online?

Keep in mind the fine prints on the promo does say require plan change. I'll make the order for a free after credit pixel 10 using an old phone that won't turn on. I'm on simple choice and mentally prepared for some returns and undo mess later on

edit. I confirmed after placing the order that theres no plan changes. and that this was a targeted promo (sounds right with the loyalty thing someone else here mentioned)
I have a iphone 6s that has cracked screen and wont turn on. Trade in page is asking me for IMEI which I dont have. How did you trade in?

You can call the COSTCO T-Mobile dedicated line at 833-428-1765 and see if they can do it that way.

Good question. I tried everything including looking for the old receipt and couldn't find the IMEI. In the end the tforce reps looked up on my account and found the old IMEI based on the model & line & the year I used it (10yr+ ago 😆) That was quite helpful, good luck

you'd either have to have it written down or perhaps have the original box which has it printed... OR can you just connect it to iTunes and perhaps see it there?

Thanks - anyone done this and had success? My only fear is they would try and pull a plan change on me...

R499 is a targeted promotion [reddit.com]; not all accounts are targeted. To know for sure if your account qualify, you can do a test upgrade online with a worthless trade-in (example IMEI 352363061652430). If the website or T-life offers you $800 promotional value for this worthless trade-in even if you declare it as broken, then you know your account has the promotion. Once you confirm your account has the promotion, take screenshots for your records and then you can purchase through any retail channel.

Per the terms, you will get $800 RDC on P10 family for any trade-in in any condition as long as you can get the IMEI number. [reddit.com] So broken, non-functional phones work as long as the IMEI number is physically somewhere on the phone. If the online trade-in cannot find your IMEI, you will have to order through an agent.

Limit for this promotion is the standard 4 per account. T-mobile systems allows you to stack multiple EIPs and RDCs on your lines, as long as the promotions are different [reddit.com]. If you pay off the EIP early, you will lose the corresponding RDC.

I got 4 ordered. I did another order of 2 and they added the promo. I think the 4 limit is per order. I have 10 lines, might do the rest also as I have old cracked and broken phones that work with this.

For me so far all imei show but it shows a diff device than it really is. I write doesn't turn on so. I don't have to bother which checking on my end to charge it etc.

Called Costco/Tmobile line and went through almost the whole process then they said the offer is not available to their sales channel and was transferred to normal Telesale to complete order. Not sure if it's BS or legit reasoning.

Anyways, this promo is better than the R260/R261 offered back in August-Oct since that one required a more premium trade-in device. I'm in for a Pixel 10 + S25 for taxes + trade in of Jitterbug senior citizen phones that cost me $14.

Yep, this deal is pretty good - would be sweet if they were still throwing in the buds (which I'd sell to offset the tax on the phone) but oh well... this deal is why i keep around a few old phones just in case...

It's good that you were able to order more, but the terms are very clear on the limit. Hope the error works out in favor of you.

Great deal. Unload non working crap in a drawer, do deal at Costco, so you only pay tax, which you can offset with $100/line.

So phone is totally free (minus value of crapmaster in drawer) after 24 months.

No way to complain about that.

Great info and just to add the IMEI might be printed on a sim card tray (if your phone has one). I got lucky with this on a broken pixel 6
