For some of y'all who did 2 different orders. Are we able to do it for different lines or can I do two orders for the same line? They let me place two orders with the promo for the same line but I'm not sure if I'll see trouble down the road.
Doubt that will end well if you try on same line - they'll likely send you a bill for full $800 later...

So this deal 100% works at Costco? So should be around $60 or so only for tax and then get $100 costco gc? and no plan change (I want to do this on a free line which works fine via website)?
I went to the store and the employee could not even see this Pixel 10 trade in offer. So the store could not do anything for me. He told me just order it in my app (promo shows there) and forego the Costco gift card.

You can call the COSTCO T-Mobile dedicated line at 833-428-1765 and see if they can do it that way.
I called this number. They verified that I am eligible and that the IMEI on my trade in was good. However, they said they would not be able to give me the $100 Costco bonus or waive the fee. Person said I would have to go into the T-mobile kiosk in the store to get the bonus. I went to the store and the employee could not even see this Pixel 10 trade in offer. My IMEI on some older phones is not recognized. I put in a sim card hoping it will update but still to no avail. How long for the system to update to recognize? Or am I SOL?

Not understanding.

If you can power the phone on, it should be in the settings.

If you can't power it on, why bother with a sim in it anyway?

Very risky but in theory you may be maxed by how many lines you have that it could apply to, rather than how many you do per line.

Either way very risky. Would suggest chatting with them and get screenshots of it if they allow to be safe.

I have the IMEI. When I input it during trade in process, tmobile says it's not recognized and not letting me go further.

Call or talk speak to support through the chat and let them know your IMEI in hopes that they accept it.

And if not, just buy a ebay broken down, garbage phone but made in the past 15 years let's say popular enough that the IMEI would work for.

The phone itself doesn't have to be active on a line. I don't know if that would make the process easier even.

It's nexus 5x, a 10 yr old phone, which was used on their network anyway. So perhaps needs to be something from Samsung or such

Of the 6 phones I did. I used:
Samsung Note 1
Samsung Note 4
OnePlus 7 Pro
Samsung Galaxy S4
Blackberry Passport
Samsung S8+

Although Nexus was popular enough! I would definitely call them.

I called them today too. They said they cannot do it because they are virtual store and the promo can be done only using tlife or on tmobile store. I contacted tforce and told them costco cant do it so they just waived dcc fee to me. Also, last November when they have $800 off trade in for pixel, I went to costco and they did the promotion. However, it got messed up and the promotion did not stick. So they end up fixing it for me by crediting the full amount of $800. So I guess they did get strict on where to do it. Costco probably good for any other promotions. Not just this kind.
Be careful when doing this on costco.

As we said in this thread earlier, I spoke to Tmo via T Life. They said I was targeted and therefore I can do it on as many lines as my account has.
