Was the One Plan listed under Existing Members? I don't see it on mine and I have the One Plan.

It was not listed, but it was a listed promo in my account when I clicked on the phone. And it applied the deal when I went through the steps.

When you say listed promo in account, are you referring to that it shows $0 for 24 months for Pixel 10 and $8.33 for Pixel 10P?

Folks who were able to get there order through Costco, do we need to complete any online promotion registration on T-Mobile site in order to get 100$/line gift card ?
The promo will be submitted automatically. The rep should ask for your Costco membership number when placing the order.

what about locked phones? I don't see that it's restricted. Does any network locked phone work?
Doesn't matter if it's Network locked as long as you can get the IMEI off of it, and it's not blacklisted (I.E. reported stolen). My mint condition Galaxy S9 was Network locked to AT&t and they took it with no problem.

For those of you, who took the traded phones to a T-mobile store, instead of shipping them back, what's the procedure? Do they just take the phones and ship them for you, or do the evaluation, etc. at the store?

They will inspect the phone and ship it for you. Take your receipt and your trade-in is completed. T-Mobile also send you a text couple hours later to inform you that your trade-in is completed.

If the promo is attached to one's account, would the trade-in value actually show $800? Or does that pop-up later in the process?

And fyi I traded in an old Nokia that doesn't work. Imei showed up a different phone. Rep said it doesn't matter as long as system takes it. It can be any phone broken or working as long as imei takes.

The imie1 for my tracfone moto g 5g 2024 gets error message when trying add as trade in. Barely used as backup phone and bought from best buy in August 2025. I am trading in a Samsung s8+ I bought replaceable sim card tray and power button since id rather not risk it. It does power on, screen surface scratches no cracks. It does have screen burn in from playing YouTube which seems to be known issue with that phone. significant cracks on glass backing

Costco store 1 : T-Mo rep asked me to open my T-Life app, checks I am eligible for the promo, but rejects that she would give a trade-in value of $300 only with no costco $100 shop card. This is even after I showed her the promo.

Costco store 2 : T-Mo rep verified my account, asked for offer details politely, looking into his tablet, confirmed that my line is eligible for $800 trade-in and completed the deal in 10 mins. He also told me that $100 costco gift card will come in about 4 months.I paid about $66 in taxes, no $35 connection charge since I did in Costco.

Takeaway : Dont stop if one store rejects, take time to go to another store and you might be lucky

Alright guys, I just got home from Costco after getting the lady to help me 3 free Pixel 10 phones on my Simple Choice plan. The reason some kiosk reps might tell you they don't see the promo on your account is because it's a targeted promo. Tell them to enter in promo code R499 and it will pop up, if your account is eligible. I'm not sure why some people are being denied the free activation charge ($45) and/or $100 Costco gift card.

I had 3 of my old phones that I wiped and brought to show them so they could enter it in their tablet. Please note that the kiosks at Costco won't take trade-ins there. You have to either mail them in or submit them in to a T-Mobile store (highly recommended vs mailing in. You get a receipt and instant confirmation that your trade-in was acceptably accepted.)

I went through this ordering process twice when they ran it last September, so I kinda knew what to ask to get things rolling. Prior to going to Costco tonight, I called T-Mobile corporate to confirm that my Simple Choice plan would not be changed by taking this promo. The questions I asked at the beginning of the process and at the end just to make sure things go smoothly:

  1. Is the $45 activation fee waived? yes
  2. Will I get a $100 costco gift card for EACH of the 3 phone upgrades? yes
  3. The phones are completely free after 24 months of credits. yes
  4. Will this change my Simple Choice plan? No
Tax came out to a whopping $245 here in SoCal. Tipped the lady $20 for making it fast and was on my way out in about 20 minutes.
Which store did you go to?
