It likely won't apply, and you will have to call in several time to get the credit, it happened last year. Higher probability you won't get the $100 Costco card either

I did the deal in-store at Costco. The bill credits didn't show up anywhere on the docs I signed/got last night. But got notice from T-Mobile this morning that I'll be getting bill credits.

NB: Could only trade in one phone at the Costco kiosk.

I went back today, and my favorite guy was there he (wasn't there last night). He told me that everyone had been told in no uncertain terms not to do more than one per account, even if your account showed you're eligible. So he apologized and said, "Do it online with T-Mobile."

First try on the Costco said there is a memo going around for them to stop doing the upgrades and to transfer people to the regular T-Mobile number.

The second try at Costco they jumped right in without hesitation and told me I'd get the $100 Costco Card per line and no connection charge.

Just called and the guy said that he can't do the promo w/$100 GC but the kiosk should be able to. He also said that their regular CS can do the promo but no $100 GC either but should be able to waive the $35. Gonna wait a bit and try calling in. Might try at Costco too later since I need to go pick some things up anyway.

Dude this guy on the T-Mobile Costco phone is taking more than an hour. He keeps restarting his system keeps bugging me to change a plan keeps asking about $18 a month insurance freaking joke. Keeps saying they are backordered and out of stock and can't get the order done.

My DEAN! IT TOOK 1 HOUR ON THE FREAKING PHONE WITH COSTCO! I KEPT SAYING R499 did you add that to the trade-ins? He kept taking so long so long. Resetting his system saying he has to turn it off and back on. The phones are back ordered. Trying to get through. Just give me a minute. Just give me a minute. Just give me a minute. After more than an hour he finally got both of the phones with a pixel 3A shattered screen and iPhone 3G as a trade-in. It does show that I have trade-ins for these phones but I have no way of knowing that I have the $800 attached promo. I asked him multiple times. He said yes but he didn't have any way to send me it through an email or anything so I have no idea. He just said it will post on my bill later after a bill cycle.

I don't think their systems let you pick promos to attach. The system just does it automatically. I had Costco rep just order the phone as upgrade and didn't mention promo. Next day promo is attached.

MineDidn't dhow either. Next day it did. The reps don't add promos when you order. They just try to verify if you are eligible. But it's not like they enter a promo code or anything

That's really weird because I'm talking to someone on X trying to tell them to give me the same promotion but with $135 credit to my account they finally agreed to do it but then I already got off the phone with the Costco rep. And the X T-Mobile person told me that Costco does not participate in that promotion and it will not work. And everyone is only going to get $500 and it's not the any trade-in. But then you're telling me that yours got added the next day. So no one really knows anything lol
