Nay, it's one of those standard new iPhone releases that T-Mobile (and all other carriers) do to make sure you lock in with the carrier for another 24-36 months. I've upgraded our iphones every year for past 4 years using this cycle.

I sell the more recent older iphones on local market for cash only ($400-$700) depending on the base or pro models, then I buy cheaper iphones like model 11-13 to trade in.

This upcoming cycle, I'll use these 4 google pixel 10 to trade in to T-Mobile.

I can do this just to get the phone and not actually use it right? I have some 20 year old flip phones that I can give them, and having an extra Pixel as a spare would be nice. Plus I can sell or use the Pixel as a trade in in a few years.

Wen to Costco, in Vista Ca. Was a jerk, showed me it shows my line is eligible but no where in the whole process does it show any type of credit. He says the system will automatically add the promo, everything on my end shows I am financing $799.99 without any credit. He says she didn't know of it will work and I am flipping a coin. Hopefully I get the email saying inqualify. He didn't even input my Costco card, jsut put all zeroes as he says my account is automatically set up as Costco due them being Costco T-Mobile kiosk. Fingers crossed
