Not a good deal for Simple Choice members... yawn
in states with no tax, you can profit $100 costco gc to get rid of potential e-waste you have laying around and get a brand new pixel 10 or samsung s25 if you got the other promo. pretty solid deal even in states with tax as you end still are up overall after everything is said and done. yawn.

Has anyone had an issues trading in a broken device that hasn't been on the tmobile network for 60 days within the last year? Made an order and after looking through my screenshots I noticed it states "to qualify for damaged device promotion, it just have been active with T-Mobile for at least 60 days in the past year". May have to cancel order since neither broken trade in I plan on sending meets this requirement.

Did the system recognize the IMEI numbers?

T-Mobile is greedy af, greedy af, greedy af. All these phones are more expensive than those available from Best Buy/Walmart/Amazon/Ebay.
You best bet is to only grab those $799 phones so you only need to pay taxes. All other phones over $800 would not worth it unless you know exactly the features you are looking for.
My hunch is those who made the purchase will be the target for future price hike.

someone is jelly... this is a great deal, pay roughly $100 for a brand newly released flagship phone, trading in a 10 year old garbage broken flip phone.

Oh no, we're locked in for another 24 months in bill credits. No one is going to be able to match my current plan anytime soon. 8 lines (6 of lines are free), $120, no extra fees

They always have these random promos, never changed my plans. Quit whining.

I did it through Costco phone number and he said they came up. I asked him to put both phones as damaged since I don't have the charger for one and the other boots but the screen is cracked and may have water damage. Don't want to get stuck with a $1600 bill. Didn't catch this until I was looking through screenshots I took to check the imei.

If you're trying to refer to the free Google Pixel 10 phone, then this is the wrong ID one you linked. It's R499, trading in ANY phone in ANY condition as long as has valid IMEI.

Wasn't sure which question you were trying to answer and too lazy to go check. lol

If the IMEIs came up in the system, you should be good. I traded-in 4 phones, and so far took 2 of them to a T-mobile store. The status shows "appraised" for both phones. Neither of them had been active on the T-mobile network for years!

Odd. If I put it in the t-life app it doesn't come up but the rep told me he seen it on his end. I had to use the drop down menu and select the phone model and manually input the one. I have another working phone that could trade it but not sure that the phone I told them was going to be traded in can be changed at this point.

Yes any phone that turns on.
No, the deal is any phone, in any condition, with an IMEI. You just have to let them know if it has water damage and/or crack screen.

Unfortunately not for every plan and the new ones are more expensive. So they get you one way or the other. More for the plan or more for the phone.

When I add an apple iPhone 5 that doesn't turn on I get small print that says damaged device must have been active on T-Mobile for 60 days in the last year

This is basically the same thing I seen after running a phone through the app. The rep never mentioned anything about that though.

How are you going to get the IMEI if the phone doesn't turn on? Not all phones have the IMEI on the outside.

If they can't verify the IMEI, you don't get the credit.
