Looking at my order in the app, the trade in phones show up as the LG that Im trading in and the other (Samsung flip phone that has the verbiage about being on network for 30 days) shows up as "only any trade loyalty"under "trade-in offer details". I'm hoping that the tmobile store will just give me the credit when I go to turn my trade in..
I am looking at terms that are attached to my order. Terms are here:
https://www.t-mobile.com/responsi...e-in-terms
Nowhere does it mention 60 days.

Bullet point 2.

2. You accept the conditions and requirements of the Promotional Offer and/or Offer Price, as applicable, and are giving up full ownership rights and any other value to your Device. This transaction is final and non-refundable. Your Device will not be returned (except as provided in the Trade-In T&Cs).

The 60 day usage is stated as a requirement for the damage device promotion in the screenshot that was posted.

Again, I hope this is just legal language that won't be enforced; but if you can, upgrade through T-mobile @ Costco for the 90 day no fee return policy.

What is a work around if T-life cannot find my IMEI? (Essential Phone PH-1).
I see an option for "ONLY Any Trade Promo Smrtphne" and then it lets me enter the IMEI.
Do we think that'll work?

I tried to trade in a first-generation Motorola Nexus phone, but the IMEI is not recognized on T-Mobile.
I guess not just any phone qualifies. Has anyone successfully traded in an old device other than an Apple, Samsung, or Google phone?

I have been looking at this deal for the last few days, and was worried when i saw this language mentioned in other comments, and then read about t-mobile's policy change that was publicized late last year.

I didn't remember seeing the fine print shown on some folks' screenshots posted of their trade in estimates, but I was surprised to see it when I went through the process again this evening. This time, I had manually selected the model of my intended trade-in and entered the imei. I had screenshotted my earlier estimates, so I confirmed that the extra language wasn't there before (when using an imei posted on Slickdeals) but was now with a Samsung j3 eclipse. I found another one of our old phones to use (an at&t iphone 5) and see that the language disappears from the estimate, when indicating either damaged or in good-condition.

Yes, that's generally one way you can do it, or when you start up the pixel 10 it will give you an option to scan a barcode to activate a SIM, at this point the Moto edge 2024 has a section in there for a barcode SIM scan, it will pop up on the screen. You take the pixel 10 and use the camera to Scan the barcode from the Moto edge and wham-Bam it contacts T-Mobile server for you, and esim has now been transferred, and the physical Simin the edge is now deactivated.

Thank you!

Well shit I just bought a bunch of ancient phones for this deal. Here's to hoping that isn't a real holdup.

I see the promotion on my One Plan account but the terms make it seem like only the newer plans qualify for this. Any advice?
