I mean there's nothing new about this deal. It's free with 2 years of device payments covered. I got this in early January.

I have traded in Windows phones from 2007 which don't even turn on! One was Nokia 3311 or something from probably 2002 or so (without battery in these).
The rep in the T-Mo store was so young, he said he hasn't ever seen these kind of phones and even called his manager to show these...lol

Still want to do two more of these, but site is causing all sorts of issues. Can't verify IMEI, IMEI not recognized, lines that have upgrades available won't show in trade-in list, etc. Crappy experience. I don't know how anyone is doing the trade-ins online using the site, it simply won't accept any old phone that it can't see listed as already detected (by SIM, network connection) in your lines.

As warned earlier, R499 is already on the expired promo list (although it has not expired currently). So if you are on the fence, make a decision now.

If you need a trade-in, I wrote earlier how to get cheap trade-ins same-day. But if those don't work for you, I also have 1 trade-in. Send me the shipping label and I'll send it to you or T-mobile. PM me if you know for sure that your account is targeted for this promo. Taken.

The $100 costco rebate seems iffy. Did anyone get it in writing? In the past, when these upgrades are done in-store at Costco, there would be a print out with the rebate information, e.g. rebate promo #, etc. listed on that sheet of paper with your order number. I do not see this information in the order confirmation from placing the order over the phone.

And when you select manual entry, it accepts your phone initially then wants you to add IMEI (which you bypassed to get to this screen) to run it through again, only to 'not recognize' it all over again. This has to be done thru chat/Tforce.

The last time a similar deal occurred trading any crappy phone was about 5 years ago with the Samsung A32. I traded in an old palm pilot for that one lmao.

think bigger....

get the phone, trade in crappy $5 flip phone, and decide which to sell. You can sell this pixel easily for 400-450 locally without too much trouble.
