Mine is sitting here. You have 2 years to get full credit. You can hold the activation till then but in order for it to unlock it has to be active for 45 days on network. Also, you can set the number on each phone thru tlife app. Go to your account, click the specific number and select sim activation. From there you can assign which phone you want to activate to that phone number.

Not sure why some of you are trading in working phones (even though old ones)!
First try to get rid of those phones which are literally trash-worthy... like "broken into 2 pieces" kind of trash-worthy...!
I have traded in these kind of phones recently for Pixel-10 and Samsung A17 promos !!!

Did they ask for the IMEI number for those flip phones? I spoke with a rep at the store, and she told me the IMEI has to show up in their system or they won't accept it. I have an old Android phone, not a flip phone, and when I entered the IMEI on the website, it didn't show up.

I completed my trade in online and have never done an upgrade through the Costco T Mobile line, but I will definitely do that next time since I missed out on the Costco Shop Card.

Call Tmobile or Costco and they can put the imei in even if it doesn't show up for you. Then it will show up as any phone any condition in their system

I did that, but a different trade in phone was shown. Called a few times to have it fixed in vain. Cancelled the order and bought a cheap phone with IMEI for the trade in.

It doesn't matter the make or model of the trade-in. I wrote about my experience, where the actual make and model was originally recorded, but the trade-in evaluator changed it to "ONLY Any Trade Promo Smrtphne". I still got the promo in the end.

Due to weather my 2nd shipment had been stuck in nevada since 16th on way to California. I m still debating to use this or continue to use iPhone 13/se3 and give whatever I don't to a family member.

Is a17 same quality as a71? Was using a71 T-Mobile as my main phone since 2021 until I became aware of unlocked prepaid phone deals from other carriers like tracfone and total wireless and switched to iPhone se3 and iPhone 13 couple years for fairly cheap

had a bricked samsung s22 ultra . won't power on typical samsung trash support won't fix it. traded in with imei on the back of the phone.

are you saying phone will unlock after 45 days of activation ? I guess this is no longer true. it takes full 2 yrs/end of contract to get phones unlocked.
