It should be immediate on your account when you log into the tmobile website. I can confirm for all 4 of my trades. I did it in batches of 2 as my corporate store only had 2 in stock and I ordered the other 2 online, but all 4 trades done in store
Thanks, see the promos are there and were there pretty quickly. The one trade-in where the phone matched the IMEI but was an any phone trade in shows received and assessed. Thought there was something else after that like a confirmation or email. The other line trade that had an MEID and not an IMEI but had notes from corporate to accept, still show the wrong phone and start your trade in. However, when I left the store I received a text it saying I was unenrolled from the promo for that line and then a couple of hours later a text that said I was enrolled again. Should be okay and not much I can do till my next bill generates. Luckily 90 day Costco return policy so if there is an issue I will just return the phone. FYI, everyone customer service person I spoke to says that nobody cares if the phones match as this promo is so lax. They have to give you the IMEI must match policy because that's how it usually is.

I did 1 line upgrade previous week and 2 last night at the store, by ordering from the app & returning the phones at the store.
Just now got the sms from TMobile as below.
T-Mobile: The monthly bill credit for Google Pixel Promo with Trade (ID260229) on T-Mobile line xxxxxxxxxx has ended because the promo ended or your eligibility status changed. Learn more: https://secure.t-mobile.com/AccountPromo4
Did anyone get this and is it something to be concerned about?
I'm always worried of using the tmobile promos and this is another reason it's not changing.
Was the text for just one line or all lines? Should have gotten another text saying you are enrolled again. Mine came less than 2 hours later. Also check if you see the promos under you line in your account. Would call but you can also wait and it might sort itself out. Will point out that the return policy is 14 days and a $70 restocking fee so better to clear it up sooner than later.

You can do all of that thru t-life app. Type in the imei number and link it to the number you want to link it. Then its done.
I ordered multiple phones. Did Tmo assign a specific IMEI to a particular line? Or I can select any imei from the order and assign to a particular line? Where do I type the imei and link with a particular number? Is it under manage sim menu? Thanks a lot for your help

They are lying !!!
I ALWAYS receive the shipping labels and I ALWAYS trade-in the devices in the store to avoid their prolonged warehouse drama...lol
So what do you do if the store employee says 'no, I can't take it here. mail it in'?

Did you go to a corporate store or a contract store? You should go to the corporate store. If that came from a corporate rep, go to a different store.

So phone needs to be paid off (which I know will take 2 years if i don't ant to lose my credits) and be on the network for 40 days for T-Mobile to unlock it. To be "on the network", I can just put any of my numbers on the phone, make a test call/text and then leave it off for 40 days? And unlocked is really only going to matter if I later want to sell the phone as opposed to using it as a trade-in, where it won't matter if it's unlocked?

That explains it then. Thanks. Do you know if I have to bring the new and old at the same time or just the old will suffice?

Should just need to take the old ones in along with an ID. They will look up your account information, inspect the phones and give you a receipt.

Has anyone with a legacy TDD Plan from Sprint done the upgrade, and did it affect your plan?

The Imei needs to match the trade in phone. Then the phone you received, it will not matter which line you put it in. On tlife, select the line you want to assign the phone then sim activation and you go from there.

I just got this about an hour after trading in at a store. Guess I'll wait two hours before calling them

Costco canceled my order for 2 but I asked T-Mobile on X and they said they would credit my account the $35 each plus $100 for the shop card. So I ordered them for pickup at a T-Mobile store today. Went and got them both. T-Mobile credited me $300. $100 for the connections fees and because the taxes we are slightly higher than Costco charged. $200 for the shop cards. Traded in a broken screen Pixel 3a and a iPhone 3G 8gb.

That's honestly better since the shop cards are slow to receive and since Costco keeps messing up the trade in entry (putting in the wrong phones)
