I will attempt to return to the store tomorrow. Those of you who did it at the store level did you print out all the paperwork or are they pulling it from your account? Thanks.
They just pull the info from your account. I did it in store last year. Bring your ID. Also might want to bring the other phone you are no longer trading in (not absolutely necessary but they asked for it to confirm)

I am in the same boat, any idea what are the challenges that I might have to face if I swap the trade-in phone for this deal?

The employee might be an ass and not cooperate. Make sure you go to a corporate store (required) and preferably one that's not too busy.

In addition they might not automatically adjust your promo amount if your trade in value is lower so call to fix.

I'm just going to mail mine in this time since it's much less work and people have reported on reddit that mailing works too.

Seems like I can't stack S26U promo on top of this GP10 promo. It is asking me to payoff GP10 balance, which of-course I am not going to do.

Also, I never got any text/email after I dropped off my devices in a store. Seems like if everything went perfect...(trade-in imei in the order matches the device imei u r dropping off), which was true in my case, no text/email after dropping off...credits started right away from the next bill...

If you look in your order history you should see the trade in status. Did both in store at the same time. The one that matched the imei say received about a week after I handed it in. Think that is good to go. The other that was marked as different device - their mistake, still shows trade in started but no update. Will watch the account to make sure that after the 30 days for trade in has passed that the credits will keep coming. I also received the first months credit but am concerned about the line that doesn't show trade in received. If an issue, will just return to costco.

I dropped off the trade-in devices on 2/24/26. It was assessed on 3/3/26.

Then you should be fine. Am wondering if anyone who traded in a different device than was on the order shows that the "new trade in was received.
Thanks

I am fine. My comment was to indicate that if everything went fine in the store (phone model and IMEI matches), you don't get additional text/email. Credit just starts rolling in. Thanks

Costco rebate is not showing up for me yet. Is it tracking for anyone? You can access it via https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ after logging into your account.

Nothing here. It's been over 30 days. Went through all the prompt and no promo listed under the # that was for R499. I'm very skeptical about getting the $100 for this.

Did you have to submit the rebate on the website or did the costco phone rep tell you it's automatic?

You used to have to submit it, but i was told it was changed to automatic now.

It's going to take more than 30 days to get it though and it may never show on the status page and you make have to call, but you'll get it eventually.

It should be all automatic now. I received one Costco rebate for an iPhone 17 purchase back last year and it was automatic. I thought it showed up on the promo page within 2 weeks of purchase though. Rebate itself won't be received till after 90 days at least.

Anybody had success getting GP10 unlocked even while the credits will be on-going for next 2 years just based on loyalty of being with TMo for a long period of time? Thanks

I did. Never had a problem unlocking right after getting the phone. More likely had to do with how long we have been with TMobile.
