not seeing this on my simple choice plan. only 500 off.

This is worth the hassle if you plan to stay with T-Mobile in the near future AND plan to use the device. I did a similar deal for Pixel 9 Pro XL last year. Halfway done with the installments. The phone is locked until it is paid off. You cannot pay off early. You cannot sell the device. You can sell, but you need to let them know the phone is still under EIP, and that the buyer needs to trust you will continue making payments.
My phone is just sitting in the drawer collecting dust. Good for a backup phone, though, if needed. But I doubt how much value will be left after I can finally sell it. It's already down to $500 if sold today unlocked.

Mine shows: "Android Promo with Trade (ID251056)" also waive DCC. I don't want to shell out $200+tax for the 10 Pro so will be trading in a broken iPhone 6 for S25 = $0 + tax after EIP

Do you jump around every year or two? I've been with T-mobile for 20+ years. Not because I'm loyal to them, but because I have so many grandfathered deals that keep them VERY competitive against their newer plans or other carriers.

Chat with their AI tells me my plan is not eligible for this promo because I'm not on any of the following: Experience Beyond, Experience More with Appreciation Savings, Experience More, Better Value or a legacy Go5G Next, Go5G Plus.
I'm always weary about doing these deals, because instead of telling you that you're not eligible, they just automatically upgrade the plan, which will then be impossible to revert back to SC.
