Good guitar but $500 still feels like a lot. I guess the awesome deals we were spoiled with over the last several years are gone.

Definitely feels high for a Squier but this is the average used price on Reverb, not even accounting for shipping. So a decent deal if you are after one.

Thank tariff tits. I think this was $450 last year. Highest would have been $500 pre tariffs.

I bought this during the Focus Pro Audio sale not too long ago for ~$385 before tax and that price I think it's solid, but I admit the fretwork was not great and came with some fret buzz. These are not hard things to fix, but they show hit-or-miss QC, and for $500 and above, and I think you're better off spending a little more for a Player II on sale or shopping used.

Never bought from Focus Pro Audio. Was it shipped in a factory sealed box that was never opened (i.e., it was stapled on both sides, and was never re-taped up)? Just curious, as the deals from them seem almost too good to be true sometimes.

Yes, mine appeared to be a brand new unit, but I've read a couple of comments recently that had a lesser experience. I would personally buy from them again if it was another deal as slick as the recent ones have been, but if I'm buying anything full price, I'll probably stick with Sweetwater or somewhere that I can return locally easily

Same here. Couldn't help it.
