This performs very similarly to a $200 Dyson stick I got a few years ago. I didn't do any side by side comparisons. This one does have a light which the Dyson didn't, it's nice. Battery is short as is with pretty much all of these

I don't own this specific unit or a Dyson, but My experience with these cheap cordless vacuum cleaners is that they are ok for light duty use. The lowest setting that gives the longest runtime can really only pick up dust, fur, or anything very light. Some units have stronger settings that can pick up a bit heavier debris but the runtime suffers drastically.
