This is a steep discount on Fandango at Home email gift cards, with the main appeal being roughly 30 percent off digital movie purchases. The cards can be useful for smaller rentals or for stacking toward bigger buys, though Fandango only allows three gift cards per purchase, so only $75 can be discounted at once. The biggest caveat is checkout trouble at Walmart, with repeated cancellations, card failures, and occasional need for PayPal or an alternate email. It is a handy deal if the redemption limits fit your purchase plan.
movie fans who buy low-priced $5 rentals because a $25 Fandango at Home gift card effectively covers about five $5 movies for them.
people trying to maximize savings on Fandango at Home purchases because commenters say it's effectively 30% off when you can find the $25 and $15 cards at that offer.
buyers who plan purchases strategically around gift-card stacking limits because Fandango only lets you stack 3 gift cards at once (up to $75 discounted per purchase), so it works best when you time it with other gift-card sales.
shoppers who are okay using the website checkout (and possibly PayPal) because one commenter said the deal only showed on the website (not the app) and their credit card failed until they used PayPal.
customers who need the order to go through reliably right now because multiple commenters report Walmart canceling the transaction repeatedly (even after trying different payment methods) and in some cases forcing password changes.
people who want to buy multiple gift cards to the same email address because checkout can limit sending to one gift card per email address, which can block the purchase flow.
buyers who are trying to use the card for digital purchases without checking the Fandango/Vudu "at home" compatibility because commenters warn that a prior Fandango gift card didn't work on Vudu/Fandango at-home digital sales for them.
people planning to spend more than the discounted stacking cap in one order because commenters note that if a purchase is $100, only $75 may get the discount and the remaining $25 would be undiscounted.
Walmart checkout can cancel these orders, even after multiple attempts with different cards or payment methods. Some orders still go through, and PayPal or using the website instead of the app can help.
Yes, Fandango at Home gift cards can redeem on FaH digital purchases. The old Fandango-branded cards were historically tied to theater tickets, but the current FaH redemption worked again for at least one purchase after earlier trouble.
You can stack up to 3 gift cards at once, which caps the discounted amount at $75 per purchase. If your order is larger, the remaining balance is charged at full price, so it can help to split purchases or wait for another sale card.
Nah, but I understand your confusion. Fandango was always theaters, but they bought Vudu and slowly changed the name. They further confused some people as the Fandango gift cards would only work for theater tickets, not on the Fandango "at home" (old Vudu) digital sales. I screwed myself one time when I bought a "Fandango" gift card on sal,e only to find out it wouldn't work on Vudu/Fandango at home.
I had done the same thing years ago. Fast forward to sometime last year and I tried the Fandango gift card again on FaH and it actually redeemed.
Anyone figure out why this is working for some and not others?
My orders were getting cancelled immediately, 'TOS'. At payment I had to deselect a Walmart GC on my account I had forgotten about, then the order was successful.
You can't pay for these gift cards with walmart giftcards. If you use a credit or debit card, you shouldn't have an issue. It helped me to sign in, select the number of gift cards and add email information, and then click "add to cart". I got 2 at the same time.
I did exactly this since I've run into problems before sending to the same email. I placed an order for 2 gift cards using my debit card and was sent both codes within 5 minutes. Good luck everybody!

I picked up six. On the website, click the Continue button to open a sidebar. You can add up to 12 recipients, one email address per field.
If your email was [email protected], just enter [email protected]. Add up to 12 items like this, then click Continue. Back on the main page, you'll see all of the recipient email addresses. Click Add to Cart, and the cart will reflect the number of recipients. Go to check out and proceed as usual. I used a debit card and received them all immediately.

Tried for two, order got canceled. Then tried for just one, order still got canceled. Maybe it's already dead.
Same happened to me and my friend. I was trying with virtual card so looks like Walmart cancels virtual cards. The only option is to add a physical credit/debit card which is risky as my Walmart account had got hacked earlier.
EDIT: Called walmart support spoke with AI and finally got transferred to a live agent. She escalated the issue to other department as my account was flagged in system for previous hacked issues.

Just read that all digital purchases with FANDANGO or any other will get lost without compensation if it closes down. The only preventive measure is to link FAH account with MA so MA movies will be get transferred to other platforms.
