Seems infimobile has been flagging and removing folks from their service without explanation, refund nor recourse. Would avoid Infimobile.
I've seen the like 1 or 2 people in a previous post stating that, without actually knowing what's going on. Otherwise I see majority of people saying it's great. Myself included, I still have service. So, not something to actually worry about.

You can look at all the current infimobile threads here on Slickdeals, the middle to last few lines of comments are Slickdealers sharing their terrible experiences. What seems to be the issue according to unresponsive infimobile CS are Verizon SIM users are being flagged by Verizon for fraudulent activity although Responsive Verizon CS usually checks and is unable to confirm said claims. For you friend, i would prefer you don't recommend people waste their hard earned money on a null service without knowing what's going on.

The link you literally posted has one person saying they had an issue and then it was resolved. You're literally digging into an already empty hole, trying to find some way to spread fear for a service that actually offers value. You've just joined SD last month, are you here to promote Ultra Mobile or something?

Ive never tried Ultra, the comments seem as much if not more crucial against them. I personally have my own gripe against Tello, their practices and their customer support are abysmal. I was attracted to them by a brown nose just like you. Now I'll repeat myself- THERE IS NO VALUE, even with the faintest possibility, paying for a null service. I can post the many dozens of comments but please take a look, take the bad with the good and make your best choice.
Here are the threads-

Ultra Mobile just like Mint Mobile mvnos owned outright and operated by T-Mobile, which means they do run on T-Mobile's network. Keep in mind they may allow roaming, but it's not on AT&T's network at all.

Do you have to register an account to top up? Can I just buy refill cards from a retailer?

CA tax (recovery fee) $16 and shipping is free. However, infimobile gives 10gb data vs 4gb .. total cost comes out better with infimobile

the i13 is compatible with any carrier IF unlocked. If locked, then it's a no go.
