The 20% "inKind Cash Back" is not given if you redeem this gift card, which will be shown as "inKind Cash" in your wallet. The logic is you already received the discount. However, inKind Cash is more useful because (1) there is no expiration date on the balance, (2) you don't need to wait until the next transaction to be able to use it, and (3) you can take this discounted gift card purchased at 44% off and use it with the promotional offers of $x off $y to maximize savings (something that cannot be done with inKind Cash Back).

I dont really get how in kind works. So you can add this giftcard to the app, and you still get 20% back to to the inkind app as credit?
