The lids are however plastic. Some reviews say they were expecting more large sizes.

I use the glass Rubbermaid containers for meal prep weekly, ten per week. I highly recommend getting many of the same size if you are doing it for this purpose as they stack easily and the lids are interchangeable. I ended up getting a few smaller ones and a few large ones from Rubbermaid but by far the meal prep weekly containers see the most use. Absolutely no issues with the glass. I've only had two lids fail on me over the years and it was because they were overstuffed.
