You shouldn't need a monitor like this for general office work, this is a very powerful monitor
I'd recommend getting something cheaper like a 1080p 60hz monitor for much cheaper
If you do still want a powerful monitor though, this should be just fine, Acer is a fairly trusted monitor company

You don't need 240hz to run Excel but 1440p is much easier on the eyes than 1080p.

A 27" 1080p monitor really isn't great for text unless you have bad eyes and use 200% scaling.
