Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Somehow this link didn't work from my computer. I wend directly to Lycamobile website and couldn't find any prepaid plan less than $10.

Thank you guys a lot. I got my first order done. I remember last time we didn't have to wait full 12 month, right? I think around lots of people get it unlocked around Month 10?

Can confirm that brand new US Mobile numbers do NOT work for immediate transfer. Agents would not provide transfer PINs for lines until the first 30-day cycle completed.

Correct, they only allow (generally speaking) for port out within 30 days if the number was ported in to begin with, for example in cases where the 30 day free dark star trial was utilized.

You can activate the 2nd line when it's shipped. . You just have to put in the order#, last name and zip code and click activate.

Then it could be area specific, I just googled Lyca $5 plan and got this link. Was able to get the number in $5 but on Metro I am stuck even in incognito same error, your security is our top priority.....

Thanks for the reply. It finally worked for me after several retries. The total was $5.25 including fee. I will try activating the eSim after I return home from cruise. I am using cruise WiFi and that may be the reason I couldn't get through earlier.

Once you activate Lyca eSIM, use browser (I didn't check if these options are available in the app) to login to your account with phone number and sms code. Under Manager Account, you will see "Account & Pin number" with View button option, it will send you verification code and display your account & pin.

Since last year, the unlock policy change to full 365 days, no exception. On 366 day, the iphone automatically unlocks. That was the case with the iPhone 13 I got last Feb, 2025. Maybe 2 years ago, it was 6 month unlock policy.
