Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

So for the first phone on the account, you have to actually receive the phone to activate it, correct? Then can start activating phones 2, 3, and 4 (if you want to buy that many) upon shipping?
That is how it has worked for me.

For all the people porting in GV number for their first line with Metro, who also want to order a second phone, is there any delay in getting SMS texting to work or whatever is perhaps needed to log in and put in a second order?

I think you can activate after it ships and then the account is cleared to order more.
It works like that if the 2nd phone is shipped and you can order the 3rd after online activation of 2nd. For 1st phone, you need it to arrive and get sms to login before ordering the 2nd.

Sorry, we couldn't reserve your number.

We're weren't able to connect with your carrier to get your number reserved. Please continue with a new number, or visit a store to complete your number transfer. Promotions may vary in-store.

iPhone 16e vs iPhone 13 for the same price??

I think the only advantage of iPhone 13 is the camera, processorwise 16e is still a win.
MagSafe is a huge deal for me. For some reason, they trimmed that out of the 16e.

If it's just a MagSafe issue just put this cheap case on your 16e https://a.co/d/0i8XIFeS

There can be a delay in the port being completed, it can be solved by calling into CSR and finding a competent rep.

You want to mention that the line being ported in is a landline number. If you get a confused response hang up an call again. User reports exist in the recent Metro iPhone 16e deal.

I had same problem right after I unlocked the number, and that time I also used 940xx zip code.

2 hours later, it worked. I used the zip code that matches up with the area code.

So I don't know if the delay was needed, or the matching zip code, or both....?
how did you find the zip code that is associated with you GV number?

The GV area code corresponds to a city or zone. Find any of the zip codes there.

There are much better phone deals on SD than this for just YouTube and games. iPhone 13 has a pretty garbage screen and processor. Look at the Moto G Stylus 2025 also via Metro.
garbage screen? You don't know what your talking about: Resolution: Super Retina XDR OLED 2532 x 1170 and 460ppi. Best you look up what that means. Processor? The iphone 13 kills the Moto G Stylus 5 G:
AnTuTu v10 Benchmark Breakdown (Approximate)
  • iPhone 13: ~1,319,000+ total score.
  • Moto G Stylus 5G (2024): ~554,000 - 568,000 total score.

It's garbage because of the 60hz, but it kills the stylus in everything.
