Sorry, we couldn't reserve your number.

We're weren't able to connect with your carrier to get your number reserved. Please continue with a new number, or visit a store to complete your number transfer. Promotions may vary in-store.

what did I do wrong?
try again later, worked once for me, then failed at other step, I feel their website or server is glitchy , maybe works on some browsers/ devices better?

When did this deal start? Did you already receive and activate first device before ordering 2nd and 3rd? Delivery is taking 4-5 + days I guess. Isn't it? Can 2nd and 3rd be ordered at same time ?

Will this work for legacy t-mobile prepaid after the first month? Will I get penalized for not able to unlock it after a year if do so?

For about the 5th time in this thread: you can't order the second until you activate and have possession of the first. You need to login to your account which requires receiving sms to do. After the second phone is ordered you can activate it before it arrives then order a third. I have not been able to order a 4th phone, watch or tablet this go round.

Yes the fine print said limit 2. But after someone else reported success getting a third, I ordered and it went through. I placed my order through the first metro phone with WiFi off. There was an old thread where it seemed this was a way to successfully get a third.

So if you plan to use this for a year which of the carrier this device will work with? Metro, Tmobile, what else? or it will strictly work with Metro ONLY?

Bought this deal thanks. They also have the 16e for $99 + $55 for one month. If you keep it for 3 months they give you a $99 gift card. I think I will just do the month and store it in a drawer for the year.
does this mean you will need to pay 55X3 = 165$ for 3 months or you just pay 90+55 and after 3 months you will receive 90 GC? I would think your line will need to be active at the time they pay you GC

Friendly warning: Google has recently changed its policy on new GV numbers. See this Reddit post below:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Googlevo...efore_you/
I only found out about it this morning when I tried to get new GV numbers on a couple of existing accounts but was asked to upload ID documents. I think I had had GV numbers on these accounts before Metro disallowed them for promos over a year ago but didn't bother to set up new numbers.
As posted in another thread, GV numbers may take long to be ported in and you may have to call Metro to speed up the process. My first Metro order is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I have activated the line without any problem, but my GV number is still active and there's no email from Google about it being ported out. I can't login to my Metro account as my GV number is not getting the verification code, not until the port-in is complete.
This is a very big deal. Once you port GV number to Metro, you will NOT be able to get a new Google Voice numbers, unless you undergo an identity verification check which needs physical ID upload and physical address as well. So maybe porting Google Voice numbers away isn't a great idea if you plan to get another number.

It has to be removed from your account first. So you would need another phone to replace the iPhone on your account. Then it can be used on another account. Phones are linked to accounts with their service.
Let's say you get a phone in the box, can you not call them to deactivate the line? or first it has to be activated? how about if you activate it using the MID numbers on the box and then deactivate the line with TM? the 2nd user can then activate the line with TM again and you would not have to even open the box.

Another possiblity is, you use your phone and add another esim and activate this esim on TM and detach the new phone to be given to some other user.

I haven't seen enough working alternatives to do anything other than GV. I'm willing to burn a GV number for a device but no one has posted clear instructions that will universally work 100%
