Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

i paid the $5.25 and got email with a sim number

then how to proceed after that?
I used my Motorola G 5G to activate the eSim, which will give you a phone number. Then I logged on to the lycaMobile site with the phone number as login id, and lycaMobile will use 2-factor authentication, ie send a code through the phone SMS service to login. I fiddled around with changing the password, but it always complained some issue with the new password, so I gave up on changing the password. Then on the dashboard there is an account and PIN number, which I remember is on the bottom right corner of the summary box, which should be on the top of the web page, probably needing another 2-factor authentication through the SMS. Using the account number, which is not your phone number, the pin, and the zip code I registered with, apply to the Metro port-in page. Waiting a couple minutes and it went through. I also received a termination message on my phone when it was finally through.

Yes, it is. I just ported 2 numbers from my gv to Metro this week. Also, ported another gv to T-Mobile using the last four as my pin#. . I've been doing it for the last 4yrs

did you ever set a voicemail pin number?

maybe both methods work, and your method works if you didn't set a voicemail pin.

On the Metro page it says free when bringing your number, but when I check my Tello or GV number it changes to $199 for the phone?
Try without WiFi? My orders went through when I turn WiFi off.

Based on previous deals.. anyone know how long this deal is likely to run for? (i.e. end of the month?)
Also, if I port in a number I want to use/keep. After the 30 days (or even before), can I port it back out to a cheaper MVNO (i.e. Mint or Visible)? Would the phone still unlock after 365 days if I do this?

In the past I ported out my number before completing a month and iPhone still unlocked.

I had the same issue, I contacted the customer care and was able to place an order yesterday night. I ported GV. He mentioned the error was because of I was trying to setup a pin which had my street number. Good luck.

BEWARE: I just tried to get this deal. I filled out all of the information online, even my credit card info and port out info. I have never used Metro before. When I got to the end to complete the sale, I got the message that I had to call in. I called in and after a back and forth with the Metro rep AND straight talk to release the number, I gave my credit card information over the phone, the rep (Luis) all of a sudden started mentioning that he's worried my credit card wont go through because i have a "#" in my address. I thought that was odd that he was already identifying a problem before even trying the transaction. Sure enough, he puts me on multiple holds to try the transactions and after about 3 "tries", he finally comes on and says his manager identified a "glitch" with the promo and that it's currently not available and thats why my transaction couldnt go through. He offered solutions like I could buy another iphone (16 - for more $) or an android. Luis then transferred me to a supervisor who was incredibly rude. Supervisor (Chero?) tells me there is no port out request and that they cannot help me with purchasing the phone because it is only an online deal. I told Chero I started online, but online directed me to call to complete the transaction. Chero said theres nothing they can do. I should have believed all the online warnings about Metro by Tmobile being a shady company. So somewhere out there "Luis" has all my credit card information. smh.

Only way is to call them. I called and they were able to manually process the order, there was no wait time but, the call was really lengthy as they are required to read you disclosures from t-mobile. Unfortunately, just like any other client services reps, some are good, but most of them are terrible. I just happen to get a good one.

I was able to successfully order this deal and got an order confirmation. However, when I try to login to my account I enter my phone number and then try to enter my PIN# but it doesn't let it go through.
Anyone able to access their account after ordering this?
