Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

The agents are trained to be vague as to not assist you in gaming their system. Not rocket science. Your name and or address are marked for port in fraud in their system. Wait for a couple weeks and try again on the next deal.
Makes sense, but I wonder why they flagged me for GV port in. Maybe I didn't own the GV number long enough - most likely explanation. Or maybe I should have used Google HQ zip code during port out or use 00000 not sure what went wrong there.

I always got an error with online order.
I went to the store, and they charge me $55 tax on this phone, totaling ~$120.
Is this $55 tax normal in CA???
Ouch yeah you got robbed. Per my recipt the phone free using "Get on for FREE when you bring your number" no tax was charged on the phone. No tax was charged on the 55.00 plan. Total charge was 55.00. Dam I just realized that no taxes were charged at all.

In exactly same boat, tried calling two times - both reps started to blame my credit card information. Obviously, there is some flag set why I can't place the order, but they couldn't tell me what the problem is. The second rep even hanged up when I told him it is not CC problem. Please share if you find solution - this is really weird
Exact same thing happened to me as well.

I tried to port out one H2O number and GV number. Both failed.

Thank God I stopped there and didn't purchase at the end.
Now, I am stuck:
i) Online: At the very last screen, says to call. (With "your security is important".... msg)
ii) Call: After trying 3 different credit cards, the agent hang up on me.
iii) Store: Everything worked, but they charge me $55 tax.

What a first-time experience with Metro!

I would say 110 is still pretty good deal. My local stores offered 199+ for this deal

Phone delivery is in 2 business days you have 15 days to ship your phone back when you start a trade it…i hear you but its doable You profit would be $125 per phone less the cost of sourcing a number to be ported. With a ,max of 4 if you could get them all in that would be a profit of $500.00 on a apple gift card not taking into account your cost for securing a phone number to be ported x 4.
Can you buy unlocked phones from apple? aren't they priced up though so whatever saving you make on this end, you will end up paying premium to Apple. For e.g you do gets deals here and there on apple phones and they are 300-400 dollars less than the apple store price. For e.g Walmart VF deals.

So basically when you get a box from Metero, you can just turn that over to Apple and receive 180 GC without even doing anything correct or you will need to activate to buy another device from metro.

I just received my iPhone 13 with $55 plan today and I called metro support (1-888-8METRO8) to activate it (complete the port-in) and also check for additional offers. The rep told me that my account is eligible for the following offers (choose any one of the following):

Tablets:
- Samsung Galaxy A9+ 5G 64GB with 1 month unlimited plan: $30 (I chose this)
- TMobile Revvl Tab2 64GB Black with 1 month base tablet plan: $15
Smartwatches:
- Samsung Galaxy Watch7 40MM 32GB with 1 month base watch plan: $39.99
- Apple Watch SE3 40MM with 1 month base watch plan: $209.99
- Apple Watch SE3 44MM with 1 month base watch plan: $239.99
More expansive Apple watches as well - Series 11 and Ultra 3
is there a lock in period for samsung A9 or it is jail free once you pay 30 bucks?

Just got my phone but I am having issues activating. It's asking for the PIN, but I don't remember setting one up when i ordered. I tried the ones I would of used but it's not working.

I keep getting the message:
We are unable to save your changes.

As opposed to a wronf PIN which gives:
Invalid PIN.

Got my iPhone 16 and turned it on and after setup it's asking me to transfer a phone number through another phone or a QR code to activate it. Anyone have this issue? Ideas for a solution would be appreciated. I thought it would be already activated for Metro.

Use this order status link to activate your phone after you receive it. https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/order-status

sounds like you're hitting the generic ios activation page. skip it if you have that option
