Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

If you noticed, this iPhone 13 actually shipped with recent iOS 26.x version meaning it was just manufactured by Apple recently.
only manufacturing date will tell , not this latest OS theory

Get a GV number and then unlock it for $3 each. Yes, it'll still cost you but for a lower cost. And then porting out from GV is much easier. I still have an active Tracfone number but I do not trust their reliability. I ended up paying $3 to GV to unlock a number for porting into Metro.

What a ride with both ST/Tracfone. I thought i had few #'s which expired last week and now they need $10 for each line to be active to get the move out pin. Another $30 cost.

Can someone confirm whether this phone will work with T-mobile? for the 1st year till it unlocks?
Also is there a way to activate the phone without opening the box?
How can one flip this on ebay without opening the box and your name shouldnt be attached to the phone number if they do some bad thing? like decativate the line first and then flip and they should be then able to activate with tmobile

This is a cool theory but did you know that Apple can update new in box devices via magsafe interface using technology internally referenced to as "Presto"?

e.g. https://www.lycamobile.us/en/23-u...-campaign/ is $5 for the first month. With eSIM, you'll have a number in a few minutes. Don't forget to disable auto-payment.
It looks like Lyca is T Mobile. I thought this deal does not work with T Mobile MVNOs.

I doubt that Apple would do that for these iPhones 13 that shipped to MetroPC/T-mobile. Apple is still making these iPhones 13 until recently. I believe these are new stocks.

Anyone looking for an Otter Box case for this phone I purchased this one from amazon from seller Home and Above for 14.99, In like new condition. I have ordered 3 of these cases from this seller in the past including this one. Each case has arrived in new condition wrapped in plastic in an otter box packaging. I can't tell the difference. My kid has the iPhone 14 (also fits this case) and the destroys the case about once a year but of all the phone cases he has gone through this last the longest. Just remember to choose that 3rd party seller Home and Above I can't speak to the other sellers I have only used them. If they run out, then Amazon sells it for a few bucks more at 19.99 Amazon...enjoy

Just FYI for anyone trying this with a Chase credit card and getting an error at the last step: I tried this couple of times with my Freedom Flex and my Chase Amazon card and got an error at last step every single time > switched to Capitol One card and it worked right away. Don't know why my chase card did not work but if you have the same issue, it might be a Chase issue...
In my case, porting from Freedompop, I wonder how much of the failed port-in was due to FPop and how much was the Chase card. Anyone else with data points about Chase versus other card issuers? Thanks
