Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

It checked my GV number, said I could keep the number, so I paid to port the number.

I went through the rest of the process of "checking out" with Metro. It said it was "checking" some things, and now says "Unfortunately, this number can't be transferred. Try another number or choose a new number to continue."

Am I sunk, or is there another way to make this work?
did you figure out what the problem was? Same boat

when i did my straighttalk # port out, it was stuck in limbo. i had to call metro and they were able to push it through and order the phone for me on the phone. the port in process takes 7-10min, I didn't realize it and closed the browser too early when I tried to order online.

After many failed attempts on Metro, I got two iPhone 13 from Cricket wireless in $171 with new lines.
I have both numbers available to port in to Metro if anyone needs as I am going to trade in both devices to Apple.
thanks for this.
I did the same and no need to browse around, the $25 off just pop up in the middle of the reviewing. repped, 2 iphone 13 for $164.98 + tax with 2 months plans without jumping steps.

$165 + tax. that's for 2 iphone 13 with 2 lines and 1 month of the service for each line.
but cashback website gives $5 cashback and my credit card gives 3% of cash back as well.

this is for trade in right away, if you want them to be unlocked, you'll have to be with them for 180 days continuous service!!

Yes. I called in this AM and they were able to let me order over the phone. They had to "release" the hold on the port first, and then the order went very smoothly.
