Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

I just activated my phone. Under my account, it says next payment is due March 17. Do I have to pay this? I thought this was only a one time fee of $55.
It says you have 27 days (or so) to pay - see the 27 on the circle? So don't pay it, cancel before that date.

Not sure what is happening and confused.

- I placed my 2nd order/line for a i13 at Metro on 2/15, porting in a number from Lyca.
- Got a shipping notification email on 2/16. Soon after I activated on Metro website & received activation confirmation email from Metro on the same day (2/16).
- i13 was delivered earlier today. Turned on i13, went thru the set-up and got confirmation on the i13 that it is activated.
- However, the phone number is still active on Lyca (I have the Lyca eSIM on my other spare phone). I could make calls and send texts.
- I am also able to make calls and send texts from the i13.
- On the i13, tried calling the same number I ported into Metro (from Lyca) and the phone with the Lyca eSIM rings
- On the phone with Lyca eSIM, tried calling the same number I ported out (to Metro) and it goes to voice mail

Thoughts?
I posted this but it applies to to all ports NOT just GV Your port IS NOT COMPLETE, do not delete your google number. You will notice that you can make calls but not receive calls and you google number is still listed in your google account and if you call your GV it will ring in GV. Your port is in que- you need to call them and ask for the porting dept and ask them to complete the port. You will receive a text from meto and email from GV when your port is complete. Once the port has been completed your will need to reboot your device again to receive calls and finalize the port. Once the port is complete the number will disappear for GV (takes about 1-5 minutes) and you can request another one.

I can't even add the device to cart. I tried searching but didn't see anyone else hit this problem. Does that just mean it doesn't like the number I put to port in?

"if we do nothing, it should complete within 1 week anyway, right?" I would say that is likely but idk. GV # alwasys seem to take longer. Just remember that if it doesn't port your can't use that number anywhere else until metro releases the reservation. In additon, I don't know if porting it tied to activation meaning no port- no activation- no unlock in 365 days and also outgoing calls will likey be the only thing that will work if your port isn't complete but idk But maybe you don't care about any of that.

After many failed attempts on Metro, I got two iPhone 13 from Cricket wireless in $171 with new lines.
I have both numbers available to port in to Metro if anyone needs as I am going to trade in both devices to Apple.

But the i13 is locked so when you trade to google wouldn't that be an issue?
They only care that it's not blacklisted and you have to make sure that the phone is removed from your Apple account's Find My and other security removed/reset.

May I have the other phone number to port?

I have been trying to figure out a way to do it wit GV but GV keeps giving me error message and to try again later. I gave up.

Thanks in advance

The PIN is correct. When I enter incorrect PIN, I get a different error message that says: incorrect PIN.
I also found a relevent reddit post, no solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/MetroPCS...new_phone/
