Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Call metro CS and tell them your port is stuck (800) 518-7519. Takes a minute and they'll have you power cycle the phone
Thanks. Let me try.

So I received the phone activated it with GV port in, the outgoing phone calls are working but incoming doesnt work. The chat person says the port in can take some time, In the mean time I deleted the GV number. Is this a problem or since the hone is already activated the 1 year clock already started and I can deactivate the line if I wanted to send this to someone? or trade in with apple or keep it in drawer for about a year. Any of those 3 options should work correct? or this GV port in not complete for some reason is going to cause problems?

I'm stuck at security reason, need to call 1888 to activate, I tried Edge and Chrome, chase credit card, capital one, AMEX. I went to the store, the owner stated it cost $120 with tax, told him no, walked out, he called me back and match the $55 price.

i can't get a GV number, is the lyca $5 plan confirmed to work here? I've read many replies about GV working, but no one seems definite about Lyca.
I did already use a STRAIGHTTALK number from the moto stylus deal to port over for a S25 FE, want a second line for the 16e

$305 trade-in towards the Pixel 10a and also a $100 discount on my Google account. Might be of some help to those who want a Pixel 10a and got lucky with Google discounts on their account.
But the i13 is locked so when you trade to google wouldn't that be an issue?

So in store it went through using same information - did they mention why it didn't work? I have same problem online

Yep if you passed number reserved step its pretty much all setup. Your google number will disappear from your voice account when you activate service. However you can just get another voice number. The number you are porting will work like any other cell phone number you have used.
I'm stuck trying to activate it. I went to do it through email on my main phone but for some reason the pin I'm entering now is invalid… even though that same pin worked when I purchased the phone. Any idea what to do ?

I just activated my phone. Under my account, it says next payment is due March 17. Do I have to pay this? I thought this was only a one time fee of $55.

Go to the metro website and find the activate tab and follow the steps. Don't go through the activation link sent to email.

Not sure what is happening and confused.

- I placed my 2nd order/line for a i13 at Metro on 2/15, porting in a number from Lyca.
- Got a shipping notification email on 2/16. Soon after I activated on Metro website & received activation confirmation email from Metro on the same day (2/16).
- i13 was delivered earlier today. Turned on i13, went thru the set-up and got confirmation on the i13 that it is activated.
- However, the phone number is still active on Lyca (I have the Lyca eSIM on my other spare phone). I could make calls and send texts.
- I am also able to make calls and send texts from the i13.
- On the i13, tried calling the same number I ported into Metro (from Lyca) and the phone with the Lyca eSIM rings
- On the phone with Lyca eSIM, tried calling the same number I ported out (to Metro) and it goes to voice mail

Thoughts?
What was the process of porting from Lyca?

It checked my GV number, said I could keep the number, so I paid to port the number.

I went through the rest of the process of "checking out" with Metro. It said it was "checking" some things, and now says "Unfortunately, this number can't be transferred. Try another number or choose a new number to continue."

Am I sunk, or is there another way to make this work?
