Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

I have information don't need useless historical stats. You won't get $180 GC once 17e gets released Thursday.
As of now, the Apple Trade-In value for the iPhone 13 is still $180 in gift card credit. Please, do enlighten me.

Bought a lyca $5 plan ($5.25 after fees) yesterday. Canceled the autopay and deleted my credit card today in case something goes wonky while porting. You will need to install the esim into a spare phone as you will need it to receive the OTP codes to log into online lyca account and again to show your account/pin info

Was able to buy a second phone thru metro (iPhone 16e 99.99+$35 month fee+$8.75 tax). The porting process took about 5-6min online. Waiting to receive phone and activate.
How did you cancel the lyca auto renew and remove the payment card? It just pop up a message and won't let me cancel.

For those that used Lyca, what was the trick or steps you used? I keep getting stuck after the entering payment details, with Metro trying to contact Lyca for the port, for around 3-4 minutes, and then fails and says they couldnt reach the provider and to try again later. But then the next attempt just says to visit a store. If I wait several hours and/or use incognito mode I can get it to try again but still fails. About to give up and just go with the GV method

Did you call Lyca to have them manually unlock/release your number? I just got a $5 Lyca number too, and I heard their system often blocks porting requests unless you call their specific line (1-845-301-1612) to release it first.

Can you link me to the Lyca $5 sim/plan? I'm on their site and can't find it.

I didnt call Lyca to unlock it, but I think I finally got it to work. It moved on to the final page saying the number is reserved with Metro and to confirm and pay. It fails that process asking to call in to complete the order, but they charged my card anyways. Going to have to call in the morning when their phone support is open

Finally made it! I've tried countless numbers before but kept getting stuck at the Metro checkout. After reading through almost 60 pages of comments here, I decided to give the $5 Lyca deal a shot. Got my Account and PIN, tried it today, and the order finally went through! Thanks to everyone for the tips and persistence. Don't give up!

I've tried a half dozen times - different numbers, different credit cards, even calling customer service twice (average of 40 minutes each) - NO GO. Amex says the card is billed then seconds later it is unbilled.

Can someone help me understand the porting google voice number process. Here is where I currently stand. I have my personal Verizon carrier number phone + gvoice account burner number (used to port for this deal). Google voice is installed created on my Verizon phone still logged in.

I received this metro iPhone13 ported with the gvoice burner number and activated. Metro iPhone13 does not have google voice installed. As of right now texts from Verizon carrier phone to gvoice burner # appear on both google voice account texts (on my Verizon phone) AND metro iPhone. Text seems to be working fine.

But phone calls aren't working correctly. Metro i13 calling my Verizon phone works fine. BUT using my Verizon real number to call the gvoice burner number only activates the gvoice app on my Verizon phone. The metro i13 phone isn't ringing at all
Call metro at 800-518-7519 and tell them you can make calls but not get them; they will take care of it on the spot.

For the second phone (16e), did you ported in another number or just added a new line?

Hello.

May I ask how it was shipped? USPS, UPS, Fedex, etc.?

Is the package small enough for a mail box or they leave it at your door?

THanks in advance.
UPS, someone will have to sign for it
