Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

The deal only apply if you bring your number from another carrier.
If I create another GV, the qualification for 16e is 3 months of service needed

You dont need it, just create a new GV voice, then port it over, Pay $99 then stop paying after 1st month, you should be good. Phone will unlock automatically after 365 days from the day you turn it on and activate it. You will lose the number you port in that why people use GV.

that is for the Ip16e $99 + $55 plan . Ip13 is $0 + $55 plan. however if after buying the first iphone, use the same account and place order second one, the iphone 13 is $0 + $30 monthly plan.

Tried my GV number last week and it was letting me through the process but got caught up when trying to transfer. Planned on calling today to have them release the transfer hold so I could try again, but putting the number in now says it's not eligible for the transfer. Did they close out GV numbers again? Frown

Since google voice and visible won't work anymore, what's the cheapest way to port in for metro nowadays?EDIT: after reading the comments on this thread, I see that many people are reporting that a google voice number can be ported over to metro again (like the good old days).
Still trying but doesn't work on GV for me.. 😞

It must be due to port hold by Metro, try to get that released by their portability team 1-800-518-7519

So I've gotten two of the iPhone 13. Thanks, I also noticed on the website it says if I add a line I can get a Galaxy tablet for free. Does this work the same as the phones.

Is there a chance that the device comes unlocked out of the box? I have bought the 13 before from Total in the 165 USD deal, and it was unlocked (they had an IMEI number attached at the back by Total, which said "locked" when checked, but underneath it was the original IMEI for the device, which was unlocked). When I started using the phone, it said no sim restrictions, and I never activated it with Total.
No exception. always locked

trying to use GV and got this error when porting in my number:

Sorry, we couldn't reserve your number.
We're weren't able to connect with your carrier to get your number reserved. Please continue with a new number, or visit a store to complete your number transfer. Promotions may vary in-store.
For someone else who wants to try porting into GV number, please don't. I tried and it didn't work.

Can someone confirm whether this phone will work with T-mobile? for the 1st year till it unlocks?
Also is there a way to activate the phone without opening the box?
How can one flip this on ebay without opening the box and your name shouldnt be attached to the phone number if they do some bad thing? like decativate the line first and then flip and they should be then able to activate with tmobile
Unofficially, it will unlock on day 366 and work with any network; local or international.
For 1st line, need to open the box to get access to account.
You don't need to open box to get the line activated.
But no data with the phone get unlocked with the line activated and phone unopened, so you take the risk.

I already paid $3 to Google to unlock my GV# to port out to Metro,
but I got this error message when I tried to place an order with Metro:

"Sorry, we couldn't reserve your number.
We're weren't able to connect with your carrier to get your number reserved. Please continue with a new number, or visit a store to complete your number transfer. Promotions may vary in-store."

Anyone else have this error message, or how to get solve this issue?
