Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

I already paid $3 to Google to unlock my GV# to port out to Metro,
but I got this error message when I tried to place an order with Metro:

"Sorry, we couldn't reserve your number.
We're weren't able to connect with your carrier to get your number reserved. Please continue with a new number, or visit a store to complete your number transfer. Promotions may vary in-store."

Anyone else have this error message, or how to get solve this issue?
I also got the same error last night with a GV number

Does anyone know if the phone unlock in 365 days is related to the phone activation or the port of the number? I got a IP13, activated it and it shows up on Metro website as an active line. However the phone cannot accept incoming calls and goes straight to GV voicemail and I never got an e-mail from Google saying the port was completed so I'm assuming the port was never fully completed. I called Metro and completed OTP with agent and they said port was supposed to be finalized but 4 days later it's the same thing. So my question is if the port never fully completes, will the phone still unlock in 365 days?

you will need to call customer services, then ask them to transfer you to port in department. then the agent will have to manual push thru to complete the port in. if you dont call them, the port just stay like that in a limbo. Tell the agent you are porting from land line, they wont even ask if it is google voice.

Thanks for the info, but do you know if keeping it in "limbo" invalidates the unlocking of the phone?

That i couldn't answer you. For my knowledge, the moment you turn on the phone, it is register the esim and activate on the network, so it should not impact the unlock policy.

it wont take more than 5 mins to call them to complete it. with the current influx of slick dealer buying the phone the past couple days, the customer services is already know about the GV.

I do know if you dont complete the port in, the port in process will be canceled or time out and im not sure what Metro will do at that time, they cant tell you to return the phone, they probably call you to submit the process again. This scenario i haven't experience it. worst case they can back charge the full amount cause you did not bring in your number from another carrier per their promotion policy.

Historically, it will unlock. Read the terms "https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/terms-and-conditions/phone-unlock-policy" and make your own judgement.
Thanks

So I tried several times without success, I am eyeing on the ATT prepaid promotion as an alternative (I just need the phone for trade in Pixel 10a), they have:

iPhone 13 - $49.99 ($299.99 without a new line)
You'll need to:

Purchase an eligible phone.
Activate a new line of service on a phone plan (min. $45 + tax) and make a payment. 12-month annual plan not eligible.
Sign up for AutoPay in the same transaction (in-store only).
Pay activation fee $15 per line for AT&T retail store and in-home expert activations.
Pay any applicable sales tax.

My math is you pay:
$49.99 for the phone,
$45 plan for a month,
$15 to activate.

Total: $110 +tax.

I am okay with this number, however I need to enroll AutoPay at the activation, the question is:
How easy it is to cancel AutoPay with ATT (thus to avoid paying anymore months)? I know some carriers make it really hard to cancel.

Anyone had experience?

Seems it won't work for me. I verified at the end and it says contact a store or call us. Sad.

I called and they were able to port my # and put in the order. As I only attempted one time doing it. I did the 16e as its significant upgrade over the 13. I assume it still does the 30 days as this one.

After confirming that my Google Voice number is eligible to transfer, the next screen asks me to choose a plan. The lowest-priced option shown is $40/month (web exclusive). Has the pricing changed from the previously listed $55/month?

do they have a physical address threshold ? Feel like they have one and maybe you can't order more than 3 phones for a physical address for the past 365 days
I just purchased one device. I have been trying to place the order for the past five days using different cards, but the payment keeps failing.
