Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

What is everyone using the phones for? I originally was banking on jailbreaking the iP13 for one of kids but it shipped with iOS26, so I'm hoping I can use it as a trade-in to T-Mobile in the future. The 16e I will likely use it as a work phone after the 1 year unlock. Third phone IDK yet, but it seems like everyone is banking on trading it in to Apple for credit.

Iphone 13 got delivered today. Activated it and tried placing order for 16e using LY number. It gave me an error. Called CS and they said 30$ line is not available and since then I am not able to login to my account. Anyone faced this issue?

Can I port-in phone # from Straight Talk (my phone plan will be expired in couple days)?. Should I wait until the day of expiration to prevent problem.Thank you for your instruction.

Since you can only port-in an active number, It's always a good idea to place an order with port-in several days before the port-in number expires. That will give you a cushion in case Metro site is down, or the item is temporarily out of stock, or delayed delivery due to weather, etc.

How are people managing to order more phones if they had ordered in the past years? I ordered a couple of phones a year ago. Now my address has also changed. Still, I've been unable to order even a single phone. Get the error on the last step every single time. Tried different cards, browsers, wifi, VPN, cellular connection. Nothing has worked and metro won't even let me order a single phone.

Just got my iphone 13 and activated it.
Are people saying they can port in a 2nd phone number, get another free phone 13, and use a $30/mnth service?
I tried looking back a few pages but couldn't find the specifics of how this works.
