Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Hi i need to 2 iphone 13s. Im gonna use these for trade in so I dont mind locked or port in stuffs. i tried google voice but order not going through any other cheap number that works so I can place the order without issues. shud i get $5 tello or straight talk. Thanks in advance.

So without going thorough all the pages on this thread which service is working as of now that you can get new port and port easily without any issues from both the port out side and port in side of Metro?

Search for Lycamobile in this thread. They have plans for $5 for the first month. It worked for me for two phones. It's easy to get the account number and PIN online. They can still charge you after one month (even if the payment method was removed and the number was ported), so it's better to use a temporary virtual card and lock it.

did anyone have suceess getting a second line after GV port in? I called the department and have it fully ported in(number gone in GV) but got stuck in sorry to keep you waiting... then eventually tell me that the new number couldn't be reserved when I tried to move the number from a redpocket. how long did you wait?

I even did one seemingly perfectly and then on the last step received the dreaded "please contact us to complete your order" message. Called in and they were able to place my order over the phone. can we change the port out information? Got the port out information much earlier. When I get the phone and activate it, it will probably be more than 7 days. Will the port out information expire? When I ordered and put in the port out information, it said it reserved something successfully. I cannot remember clearly what it said. Will it be ported successfully if the port out information expires. Or we have a way to change the port out info?

already with TMO for 21 years. Grandfather SC plan, 4 paid line 4 free.+ all lines have international mobile free to some 80+ countries. why should I leave?
