Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

the tools and instructions are better, so it's harder but not impossible. I'm a fan of the 13, but a 14 has more ram (4 vs 6) plus the satellite and crash detection. And the 16e (what I use) is also not expensive, compared to a new apple screen repair for your phone. It's basically an iPhone Air with better battery life and slightly worse features (to me). I think crickets deal would unlock in 6 reasonable costing months.

Thanks. I had to call and they completed the port process. It "appeared" like it worked before but they pushed it along. As others have mentioned, with GV you get an immediate email when the port completes.

Never ordered any phones or lines from metropcs and tried to get a iphone 13 with 55 dollar plan but got that message. I try it again every couple of days and keep getting the same message. Tried my home internet and mobile internet but same thing. I tried calling their support today to see what's going on and they put me on hold for about 10 mins before hanging up. This just reinforces never getting metropcs if trying to sign up for service is this bad.

What benefits do you hope to get by doing that? You won't get any refund for unused service days. Keep the line alive for the 1st month you already paid for and you might be able to order additional phones or tablets, watches. Autopay is off by default. The account will be cancelled automatically after 30 days if you don't pay for the 2nd month.

I ported GV and got my IP13 . Just activated it. Now when I try to add a new line for watch or another phone , its giving:

same experience, except my last two iPhones were from November 2024. Same address, different first name, different cc but the name on the card and billing address same. Was able to order 2nd phone right after the google voice port was completed(1st phone) manually. So I think you might be able to get a 2nd.

Once I get the phone and cancel the service within 30 days can I immediately take this iphone 13 and turn it in as trade-in phone with another carrier? Or do I need to wait 1 year before I can trade this phone in anywhere? TIA

I'd like to know this for sure, too.

I thought you could trade it in immediately, you don't need to wait the 30 days even? Just make sure you don't have it set to autopay so that you can let the metro account cancel on its own, as you may not be able to get back into your account if you send this off before 30 days (if they text you a code to login or anything). Is that right?
