I have seen plenty of complaints about VIPOutlet (mainly regarding open-box items being in questionable condition), but I've never seen anyone complain that they've shipped a fake product when they've advertised it as authentic.

They offer free returns. I'm not sure what the risk would be when it's plainly listed as an authentic Nintendo product.

Not that this is a Slickdeal (AT ALL) but for any other Switch 2 owners out there that don't watch Nintendnews carefully, they did just release a new color pair of Joy-Con 2s (at $100/pair). The old ones still work with the Switch 2 but they're a little more annoying to charge.

The fact that these are still 90 dollars retail is insane. These are coming up on 10 years old and have notorious problems like drift and disconnecting.

Let alone the fact that you can buy a secondhand switch 1 on marketplace or eBay around 120 including joycons.

I have definitely gotten a fake ps5 controller from them. To their credit they did take it back and issue a refund.

Why is that relevant here? These are for the original switch. If i don't own a switch 2, & am looking at these for my original switch, what would new joy con 2's do for me? Nintendo products are rarely on sale, so i think it's definitely worth posting (just as when the new consoles were sold out everywhere for many many months a few years ago, it was worth seeing them posted at full price here, IMO, even though people were complaining).

Yeah, the original Joycons (aka these) work with the Switch 2, which I said in the post. If you've been looking for two more Joycons for your Switch 2, you've been stuck picking between old ones (like these) and charging them with an external charger or getting two of the same color scheme as the ones that come with, which can be annoying if you're trying to figure out who's who.So maybe someone here might want to know that there are new colors of new Joycons.

Video games are weird that way. Xbox controllers similarly have held their value to an insane degree given the age of some of their models.
