It may seem silly, but this really is the pocket knife that I wish I have always had. They aren't lying when they say it's widely application...able

It's a really solid knife. But you can get them cheaper on AliExpress.

Gerber Gear EAB Lite Pocket Razor Knife with Money Clip - EDC Gear [amazon.com]
This is my favorite that I've used for years. Only $14, but I'm always willing to try something new.

I trust the screw not to quick-change itself in use.

I have one of these, it's surprisingly solid and compact. Blade does not seem to be at risk of coming loose. I like that you can change blades without needing a screwdriver or tool. The screwpop utility knife is good too.

I EDC'd a Kershaw Blur for almost two decades until I came across this knife. Now all my knives that I paid, 10x-20x more for collect dust while this one gets abused everyday.

Opening and closing can be done one handed. When the blade gets dull, flip it around or replace it. If you lose it, your only out $5, not $100.

I buy them by the dozen through work for the guys working in S&R and Facilities.

The Gerber EAB Lite has also been my favorite. I just measured my EAB Lite and when closed, it's 2.82" x 1.24". When open, it's 5.05" long. So it's overall smaller than this. I have the black version of the EAB Lite, which I've only seen in-stores at Walmart.
I love the EAB Lite because it fits in all my coin pockets and thus is the blade that I carry around the most. Is it my best knife? No. But it's by far my most useful knife because I have it with me basically all the time.

I have purchased the three pack for $15 in the past. Yes, solid and simple. Workpro makes solid products it seems. For somewhat affordable price. Not garbage. Small and compact. I would expect heftier for $5 per piece but it's not bad at all.

I like these, but I've gotten to where I just 3D print some of the slide opening utility blade knives to have everywhere I might need one. 2-3 cents of plastic plus the cost of the blades and I have them all over in drawers, cars, etc.

These are good for this price. I paid $18 back in 2023, and EDCed one for a year or so. I wouldn't trust them for anything too heavy though, but good for leaving in the car, backpack, etc.
I bought this one over a year ago and really like its design. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BV7GPF73?

agreed, the EAB lit is amazing, I have about a dozen of them between office and home. I grabbed a bunch when they were $6 years ago.

I'm eager to try this one and see how it compares.

I got this last time the 2 pack was this price and it has been my EDC blade ever since. It locks and doesn't open accidentally in my pocket, one handed opening and closing is a breeze, easy to swap out blades and it is super lightweight. Can't go wrong.
